What else do you know about Greek cuisine?

Hi Bibiana,

I avoid to correct all comments, unless when someone asks me to. I can never know if that person will get offended, embarrassed, discouraged or annoyed by it, so I only correct really serious mistakes when I'm not asked to.

In your case there are only minor ones:

The correct forms are:

Παπάρα is a piece of bread soaked in liquid, like milk, soup or the olive oil of the Greek salad. When people get soaked wet, for example from the rain, they use this word metaphorically and say:

= I'm soaked wet!

I'm glad you understand me!

See you around!

Stefania,

You didnt correct anything... does that mean that everything was correct?? :O

How is the correct form - se emene mou aresei or emena mou aresei?

You eat lamb only once a year? Well if it is prepared well its not bad... ;) But it has a very strong taste and smell

Hahaha you also eat only the feta and tomatoes?! We are similar then :D I dont like pepper and cucumber!

What is "παπάρα"?

How good that I understand you! I really like these conversations ;)

I like meat, so I like food from meat... I live very much grilled things - gyros, souvlaki, steak... and of course chicken. But lamb not so much, and intestines at all. I dont like nor vegetables, from the Greek salad only the feta with oregano and tomatoes, and olives. The traditional dishes arent also my favourites (stifado, mousaka, pastitsio, gemista, briam)... But I like very much fish and seafood (salmon, swordfish, anchovies, octopus, squid, prawns, mussles)
