Gabriella: The Epidaurus theater took its name from the city of Epidaurus, where it is located, and it is an almost perfectly preserved amphitheater with astonishing acoustics--even though it was built 2,500 years ago. Visitors flock here by the busload on day trips from Athens, especially in the summer during the annual Hellenic Festival of Epidaurus.
