| γυαλιά ηλίου (yaliá ilíu) “sunglasses” |
| This is the number one accessory that you will need to the beach. And make sure that you will have plenty of them in case you lost or you break some of them, to have alternatives. |
| Έχεις δει τα γυαλιά ηλίου μου; |

| “Have you seen my sunglasses?” |
| Easy. |

| παραλία (paralía) “beach” |
| When you’re going to the beach, you have to say, |
| Πάω στην παραλία. (Páo stin paralía.) |
| “I’m going to the beach.” |
| 3. |
| κολύμβηση (kolímvisi) “swimming” |
| Η κολύμβηση είναι μια καλή μορφή άσκησης. |
| (I kolímvisi íne mia kalí morfí áskisis.) |
| “Swimming is a good way to exercise.” |

| ήλιος (ílios) “sun” |
| Ο ήλιος κρύφτηκε πίσω από τα σύννεφα. |

| It’s the “beach chair” |

| Or the sunbed, there is a charge, wherever you go. If someone is telling you that the sunbed is free, then you have obligatory to order something. |

| In Greek, means “flip-flop”. |

| If you are near to the sea during the tide comes up, this will happen. So remember this phrase. |

| “sunscreen” |
| Another important accessory when you go to the beach. |

| We use the same word. “Bikini” is Μπικίνι (bikíni), simple enough. |
| And maybe one topless bikini, we’ll use the same word also. |

| “straw beach mat” |

| (Min patás stin psátha, ti yemízis me ámo!) |
| “Don't step on the straw beach mat; you're making it full of sand!” |
| 20. |
| σκιά (skiá) “shade” |
| Να κάτσουμε κάτω από ένα δέντρο για σκιά. |
| (Na kátsume káto apó éna déndro ya skiá.) |
| “Let's sit under a tree for some shade.” |
